Food Courts in Auckland

The food courts are in plentiful supply around Auckland and sometimes they would have several different restaurants under the one roof. Places like the Food Alley on Albert Street is where you will get good Thai food and other different Asian varieties, like Korean, Japanese and Malaysian to cater for the Oriental taste buds in the back of your skull.

The choice is endless and although there is much to see in Auckland, it is worth coming here for the food alone. Another food court is downstairs at the Force Entertainment Centre just on Queen St. with an up market feel to the place that has European and Asian food on sale. The Viaduct Harbour is now bustling with people in the evenings and weekends which is all relatively new to the city. Restaurants around Princes Wharf include the likes of the Euro, which has won lots of awards.

The Leftfield is a great sports bar with food served also. For a taste of Brazil, try the Wildfire that has great beef and seafood. For great seafood, try the Kermadec which is in the Viaduct Quay Complex where one can choose the many fruits of the Pacific in beautiful surroundings as well as overlooking the harbour.

There are many great places to dine around Auckland, like the Waiheke Island, which is considered the jewel Hauraki Gulf, and has lots of vineyards and cafes with great sea views. The suburbs are also great places to find great restaurants, so lick your lips and enjoy!
